世界著名的剑桥大学是由31所学院组成的综合大学，也是一座美丽的大学城。31所学院建于不同的年代，每个学院都有各自的风格和独立的个性，许多地方保留着中世纪以来的风貌，到处可以看到几百年来不断按原样精心维修的古城建筑，许多校舍的门廊、墙壁上仍然装饰着古朴庄严的塑像和印章，高大的染色玻璃窗像一幅幅瑰丽的画面。

    剑桥的美融合了乡间的宁静和古典建筑的精美。这里充满了对比，新旧结合，四季景色的多变。闹市与庄严的学府，比邻而居。小河两边，牛羊与古老的教堂，相映成趣。在这里会让人感觉到人和历史的关系是那么的紧密，思古之情油然而生。
