Organization behabior is a field of
study that investigates the impact that individuals, group, and
structure have on behavior within orgnizations, for the purpose of
applying such knowledge toward improving an organization's
effectiveness.
These sciences are the major contributions to the study of organizational behavior:
Psychology心理学. Psychology is the science that seeks to mesure, explain, and sometimes change the behavior of humans and other animals. Organizational psychologists contribute to include learning, perception, personality, emotions, training, leadership effectiveness, needs and motivational forces, job satisfaction, decision-making processes, performance appraisals, attitude measurement, employee-selection techniques, work design, and job stress.
Social Psychology社会心理学. Social
psychology focuses peoples' influence on one another. Social
psychologists make contributions in the
Sociology社会学. Sociology studies people in relation to their social environment or culture. Sociologists havecontributed to OB through their study of group behabior in organizations, particularly formal and complex organizations, such as organizational culture, formal organization theory and structure, organizational technology, communications, power, and conflict.
Anthropology人类学. Anthropology si the study of societies to learn about human beings and their activities. Anthropologists contrubute in organizational culture, organizational enviroments, and difference between national cultures.
