I have nothing to
sell
He did
it!
Sam Morgan
sold his website Trademe.co.nz for a warping $500 million US
dollars (4.0 b RMB) a short while back, which he setup seven years
ago when he was in his very early 20s. The whole country of New
Zealand now feels excited. for him? Is that pathetic? Oh no.
Good on him,
yeah, But I just could not get myself anywhere
near the excitement, 'cos I have nothing to sell.
It is a
realistic world, isn't it? You need to sell something to survive. I
guess there are a few items one could sell. They are:
First thing is whatever you inherited from your parents. I guess
not many have that kind of luck. You may have the luck yet there is
always a day when you sell them out. For me, I have nothing to
sell, 'cos my parents are even poorer than me.
The second
thing one could "sell" is his knowledge. That is what I am kind of
doing. Like millions, I do have a job. For a job, you sell your
knowledge, your skills, your experience to your employer, in return
you could manage to feed yourself, or your family if you have
one. In my opinion, it is absolutely not a sale,
but merely an exploitation, why? because it is not fair. When you
work hard and make profit for the company, which will keep you in
your position. Your employer take the profit, not you, how you call
it fair and a sale? When an exchange is not a
fair one, it is nothing but a rap-off. So I have nothing to sell
here again.
The last
thing one could sell is his soul. That is not too hard, many have
done so in human history. You can betray your friends and loved
ones. You can defraud people. You can murder and kill for money.
However, do not forget one thing, that is the punishment when you
get caught. I regard myself a good human being. In that sense, I
have nothing to
sell.
I know I am poorer than Sam, I know I am jealous of Mr Morgan, who
has something to sell while I don't.
