Tintin is Gay?
Is Tintin Gay?
\——————————————————————————–
tintin is an incredibly mysterious figure. he is so
designed that he has almost little or no distinctive
character.
his idneity and propensity to behave is ambiguous, blurred
and also contradictory in different episodes.
his face is so unremarkable: his eyes are effectively two
dots;
little nose and litle mouth; nothing else. the only eccenric
part
is his hair, and that is all.
we dont know his age; how old is the guy?
we dont know he’s sexual proclivity and/or orientation, of
course,
he has experienced nothing we can call “sensual and sexual”
at least in the episodes; no romantic encounter, of course.
he has never even shown interest to a laday or girl.
one friend told me that this is all because “tin tin is a
child”.
oh yes, he is a child. a child reporter! chamone. obviously
he is adult. he speaks like adult, think like dult and behave
like adult, only that he is sexless.
it is also likely that Herge wants the story to be totally
innnocent, free from any sexual mateirals. well, this is
totally unrealisitc. why bother? why not let tintin has
a girlfriend?
what makes the story even less realistic, is that
Captain Haddock also seldom, or never, express
anything in terms of sexual oritentition. does he
like Bianca Castafiore? probably, but we dont know.
if he does, that makes him a complete man.
professor Calculus loves woman. he loves Castafiore!
officially the relationship between Haddock and Tintin is
a father-son one. and they live togheter! (cohabitation)
but given the fact that the two have almost never expressed
seuxal propensity in any way, i suspect the two guys
are gay. their relationship is homosexual. i;ve been
thinking about this quesiton for many many years.
