Naming Part and Telling Part in Telling Sentences陈述句的主语部分和谓语部分

A sentence has a naming part and a telling part. The naming part tells who or what the sentence is about. And the telling part tells what the naming part does or what the naming part is like.

Examples:

1. Max      // can put on his jumper.

(naming part) // (telling part)

2. Frogs      //  live in a swamp.

 (naming part)   (telling part)

3. This       //  is how we work now.

 (naming part)   (telling part)

陈述句的主语部分和谓语部分

句子都会有主语部分和谓语部分。主语部分是一个句子主要叙述的人或事物。谓语部分是表述主语做什么或者是什么样子的。例句中用“ _____ ”和“ // ”标识出了句子的主语部分和谓语部分。

Read each group of words.  Then make them into a telling sentence. Write the first word of a sentence in capital form.读下面的每组词，然后把这组词组成一个陈述句。注意句子开头单词的第一个字母大写。

1.   the, red, I, car, like
