年末时节，当心小偷
昨天收到陈体伟教授发给我的邮件“上海小偷地图”。正好我身边的人也发生了类似的事情。
最近，2件接连发生的事情令人心惊，足见上海年末的小偷已经到了极其猖狂的地步。
2周前，我带堂妹去看浦东的房子瑞达新苑，结束后我们分手，晚上就接到了婶婶的电话，说堂妹当天傍晚去家对面的亚新生活广场看衣服，在试衣间，她换了衣服出来看样子，这时候她的包和她自己的衣服还挂在试衣间里；等她试衣回来，发生试衣间的包没了。这下损失挺大的，她的身份证、所有的银行卡（卡里面有十多万呢）、手机（价值好几千）都没了。她还心疼她新买的LV钱包，也价值几千元呢！她的女包也是名牌，买的时候很贵的。至于现金，还好不算多，500元左右，还有张价值300多元的交通卡。
当天她发现后，因为急于打电话给银行挂失，也没跟商店理论，就离开了。
幸亏她挂失及时，才没有遭到更大的损失。后来我咨询律师，他认为，顾客还没试好衣服，商店营业员就放人进试衣间，法律上起码要承担80%的责任。但是，问题是怎么才能证明你的包的损失有多大。堂妹是外企高级白领，平时工作忙，没时间去耗这种心思，只好自认倒霉。她忙于办新的身份证，因为不久就要出差去国外，机票都买好了。
接着，我的闺中好友——高中同学川于上周末来到上海。她在美国已经生活18年，这次回来，她身怀2个月的身孕，将在上海工作半年。她先入住浦东香格里拉，然后就上班。前天半夜，我接到了她急促的电话，原来她刚在正大广场遭窃了。因为正大广场就在香格里拉边上，她去逛，想买个杯子。结果杯子没买到，小偷在她坐自动扶梯的时候，悄悄拉开了她那只漂亮的浅色皮包的拉链，十分熟练地偷走了她装有3000元人民币的信封，和她的放着所有国内外银行卡的皮包，还有那只她最喜欢的诺基亚手机。
正好当天她的公司发工资，她的卡里刚打入好几万元。而她的美国卡没有密码，又是可以透支的。她先去陆家嘴警署报案，发现那里有个日本人也因为相同的事情在报案。她于是又急急地为她的银行卡挂失。因为已经身无分文，她的打的费是香格里拉酒店付的（因为她是贵宾客户）。这一天成了她历史上最糟糕的一天。

i hate locals.  at zheng da plaze tonight, the thief
was so skillful.  my bag is zipped, no cut.  my nokia
cell, my wallet (with my intial H) containing my US
credit card, 2 local bank ATM cards, RMB 2400 (all
hundreds) are all stolen, after I purchased my mug at
starbucks (as I have no drinks at the office for 2
days, there is no paper cup supply).
 
I went to local police station with the help of hotel
(since i am elite customer here).  there are a
japanese visitor, a british businessman there
reporting stolen wallets too at the same location!!!
 
i don't think police can recover any cash.  i have
lots of money left on my cell, which I cancelled
immediately.  tomorrow when i go to china mobile, I
hope to recover the money on the card and just
purchase a new hardware.  I called Citibank to cancel
my own credit card and have laszlo FedEx another CC
card to pay my hotel bill next week when I check out.
The company will lend me some cash to pay my rent
deposit tomorrow as my local bank accounts are frozen
for 5 biz days as required (no loss on bank accounts
though).

Now you can only reach me via email (my work email is
better).  the only thing i have is my blackberry which
i left at hotel to charge.
