“我执”，就是一切以自我为中心，执着于自己的感受、想法、面子，时时刻刻在意“我”、保护“我”、追求“我”的凸显，由此产生种种对立、烦恼。

Self attachment means taking oneself as the center of everything, sticking to his or her own feelings,

thoughts and reputation, caring about and protecting the self, and seeking to stand out the self all the

time. From there, all sorts of opposition and afflictions are developed.
