Mr. X,
Happy
Teachers’ Day to you! I won’t forget this special day for you no
matter how busy I am. Thanks for your hard work for our
English.
Never shall I forget the day when I told you that I decided to
return to our class forever. It’s my luck and welfare to sit in the
familiar classroom, studying with my dear classmates and having
your class. It’s you that make me develop English into my lifelong
goal. So crazy am I learning English that I can’t live with
English.
I did
badly in the month exam. I feel very shamed and sad because I let
you down. But please, don’t lose heart on me! I need your support.
You’ll never know how important your expectation is!I am walking in
an endless desert, and I need care and encouragement to cheer me up
to get out of the desert.
Lack of
confidence, sometimes I would sit on my chair, wondering what my
future will be. All I thought is about English. Such as I have
become a famous interpreter, which is the person I want to be most
in the future. But when I thought of my poor maths and physics, I
felt like falling down from a high mountain, with my dream broken
into pieces. I hate these subjects so much because they make my
life dark and terrible. Although every one says interests are the
best teachers. But I simply have no interest in these like I do in
my English class. Depressed as I am, I have to go on working until
the day I graduate and enter a good college, isn’t it?
I hope I
haven’t take up much of your time and bring you trouble. Thanks for
your listening to my complains. After all, today is your festival
and make sure you enjoy yourself!
Yours sincerely,
T.
Miss T,
Life is a
contest just like marathon which requires prolonged efforts and
endurance. In no way should you mind success or failure, position
ahead or behind for the moment. You needn’t “feel very shamed and
sad”. You are too serious. Take it easy, little girl! Can’t you
remember that saying “Who laughs best who laughs last”?
You said
you had no interest in maths or physics. I think it is natural and
that is not your fault. A person’s energy can not unlimited and you
can’t do well in all subjects. What’ more, you do much better than
before. Once you are admitted to a college, you will even give up
learning the two subjects. Maybe they are not in the range of your
optional courses.
I am very
glad you want to be an interpreter and l believe you will manage to
be someday. You were born with languages and you areintelligent and
studious. But in my opinion, you needn’t devote yourself to English
in the future, because as far as l know, it is heavily populated in
this area, that is, too many people are learning English. There
might be tougher pressure and challenges in applying for jobs. You
may choose one from French, Japanese, German, Spanish, Portuguese,
and even Arabic. Our country is in greater need of people who speak
rare languages. Those are more welcome who are good at a certain
technology and know one foreign language or several. Of course, it
will be decided until next year.
In a
world, I believe in you----not only past, now but future!
X.
