电影■Till death we parted by Euphemia

(2006-03-11 22:15:55)
I saw Tim Burton's Corpse Bride on the other day. It's an animated feature film and a wondrous
musical tale although it has a creepy title.

I was terrified by the grotesque skeletons at first. But after a short time when they started to play with
music and dance, the skeletal limbs and discolored dead no longer seemed so frightening or gross. In
fact, the energized world of the dead had the most colorful sequences while the living were painted in
austere, lifeless mutes of grey.

The story is about that. Victor sprung a "corpse bride" Emily accidently then his living bride Victoria
was forced to marry with the very bad man. Victor chose Emily but she chose to leave.

Thank IMDB for its plenty of information about backgrounds of movies. There're a lot of learned
people and also idiots like me who are simply immersed in direct scenes and dialogues. The fact
is we know what's that but sometimes hardly to say it out.
