虽然这个故事有许多悬念，但是并不影响它的基调，这还是一个悲伤的故事，我始终相信悲伤也是一种力量。

站在伦敦桥上哀伤吟唱的 Geordie 是男主人公的妻子还是爱慕者？男主人公皇室血统是不是因为他是私生子？男主人公偷走十六只鹿是为了养家糊口还是被贵妇陷害？这些似乎都微不足道，在浅浅的吟唱中最让人感动的是 Geordie 对男主人公无限的怀念、眷恋。

有一句话是这样说的：“世界上只有两种可以称之为浪漫的情感, 一种叫相濡以沫，另一种叫相忘于江湖。”记住一个人不容易，忘掉一个人又是何其的难啊。
