The University of California , Los Angeles, invites applications for a Chinese Language Lecturer position to begin 7/1/07. Contract is for one year with the possibility to continue. Applicants must have native or near native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and college level Chinese language teaching experience. Preference is given to applicants who have demonstrated exceptional teaching achievement at all levels of Chinese language instruction, especially at the elementary level, and with teaching experiences with both heritage and non-heritage learners of Chinese. Familiarity with instructional technology a plus. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
