在刚刚过去的四月份，阳阳满了五周岁。在美国算孩子的年龄是按我们所谓的实足，而在国内，人们会说阳阳六岁，因为我们喜欢虚岁。在美国生活了多年，我习惯这边的算法，也就是四月八日那天，阳阳过完生日，他是真正的五周岁。

五岁的阳阳写回国日记，得到很多的赞扬，大人们会觉得五岁的孩子写出完整的记录是件挺了不起的事。其实，书非借不能读也，功课非老师布置不能做也。老师的话对于孩子在父母面前永远占有绝对的优势。阳阳出发去中国前，老师布置了任务写旅游日记，老师说日记可以是妈妈代写，但阳阳喜欢自己写。

阳阳是个喜欢写写画画的孩子，家里曾到处都是他画过和写过的纸张，给他厚厚一叠活页纸，没有多久他就要求妈妈再买。因为阳阳喜爱胡乱的涂鸦写字，他也渐渐的会写很多单词。会了很多单词后，他喜欢抓住时机的拼给你听，比如，我们要出门，他催促妈妈会说：“go GO go!”，早餐想吃煎蛋，他对着妈妈说：“I want E G G egg!”，等等。

看到阳阳写的日记，有些朋友称赞他棒，其实，我觉得阳阳之所以能写日记，一个原因是英文单词比我们的汉语写起来更容易。所有的单词不外乎由26个英文字母组成。而中文的方块字就讲究很多，有些笔画繁琐，有边旁，又分撇捺横竖点之类，对孩子来说写起来费劲。今天继续阳阳的回国日记，看看他在中国都做些什么。

Date: 3-7-09

I went shopping with my family, We had lunch outside. I love chinese style rice noodle. It tastes so yummy. Mom and grandma made fireworks. It is beautiful, but I was scared. I had a lot of fun.

Date: 3-8-09

I took a taxi to my aunty's home. I went to park to play game with my cousin. I fly high. I had a happy day. I took bus too.

Date: 3-10-09

Aunty took me to a restaurant for dinner with her many friends. They all played with me. We played games in their cell phone. It is fun.

Date: 3-11-09

Mommy went to get hair cut. I went to hair salon too. I waited mommy nicely. I like my mom's hair.

Date: 3-12-09

Aunty took me to eat with a lot of people. There are a lot of (food) to eat. I like it, but some I don't like.
