译文：进化自杀还有另一种方法：活着，但少生孩子。

翻译技巧：1）矛盾修饰法（Oxymoron）。这句话有一个短语比较好玩，to commit evolutionary suicide，一方面evolution是一种“进化，进步，前进”，而另一方面to commit suicide则是明显的“自杀，死亡，停止”。所以，这里应该有一种矛盾的修饰手法，这是加强修饰效果的一种方式。再举一个常见的例子“聪明的傻瓜”。那在翻译中，如果中文可以让读者理解，完全可以直接翻译，目的一样，为了加强语气。比如这里就可以直接翻译为“进化自杀”，或者“要实现进化自杀”，当然，如果翻译为“要慢慢停止进化”其实也是可以的。

2）阅读理解中的语篇。这句话又有一个another，说的是another way to commit evolutionary suicide。那就证明上一段作者讨论的其实也是“one way to commit evolutionary suicide”。返回原文看看，人类进化中自然选择的两个因素都消失了，说明人类进化也就慢慢停止了，也就是一种意义上的“进化自杀”。同时，这是第二段的第一句话，说明后面也会进一步解释“进化自杀的另一种方式：活着，少生娃”，大家不妨在后面阅读中关注。
