在网上看到一篇神奇的小说，剽悍至极，忍不住译成英文。

从“克利夫兰孤儿院”这个地名可以推测这故事其实是从英文译过来的，但我找不到原文，就自己亲自译回去。

一九四五年的一天，克力富兰的孤儿院里出现了一个神秘的女婴，没有人知道她的父母是谁。她孤独地长大，没有任何人与她来往。直到一九六三年的一天，她莫明其妙地爱上了一个流浪汉，情况才变得好起来。可是好景不长，不幸事件一个接一个的发生。首先，当她发现自己怀上了流浪汉的小孩时，流浪汉却突然失踪了。其次，她在医院生小孩时，医生发现她是双性人，也就是说她同时具有男女性器官。为了挽救她的生命，医院给她做了变性手术，她变成了他。最不幸的是，她刚刚生下的小女孩又被一个神秘的人给绑走了。这一连串的打击使他从此一蹶不振，最后流落到街头变成了一个无家可归的流浪汉。直到一九七八年的一天，他醉熏熏地走进了一个小酒吧，把他一身不幸的遭遇告诉了一个比他年长的酒吧伙计。酒吧伙计很同情他，主动提出帮他找到那个使‘他’怀孕而又失踪的流浪汉。唯一的条件是他必须参加伙计他们的‘时间旅行特种部队’。他们一起进了‘时间飞车’。飞车回到六三年时，伙计把流浪汉放了出去。流浪汉莫明其妙地爱上了一个孤儿院长大的姑娘，并使她怀了孕。伙计又乘‘时间飞车’前行九个多月，到医院抢走了刚刚出生的小女婴，并用‘时间飞车’把女婴带回到一九四五年，悄悄地把她放在克力富兰的一个孤儿院里。然后再把稀里糊涂的流浪汉向前带到了一九八五年，并且让他加入了他们的‘时间旅行特种部队’。流浪汉有了正式工作以后，生活走上了正轨。并逐渐地在特种部队里混到了相当不错的地位。有一次，为了完成一个特殊任务，上级派他飞回一九七零年，化装成酒吧伙计去拉一个流浪汉加入他们的特种部队。

One day in 1954, a mysterious baby girl dropped into the Cleveland orphanage. No one knew who were her parents and she grew up lonely without communication with anyone else. In 1963, she fell in love with a vagrant, and her life became better. But it was not long before misfortunes visited her again. First, the vagrant disappeared soon but she found she’d been pregnant by him. Second, when she was giving birth to the baby, the doctors found he is a bisexual which means she has both the female sexual organs and the male sexual organ as well. In order to save her life, the doctor did transsexual operation to her and She became a He. The most miserable thing is that her/his newborn baby is handicapped by a stranger. These series of disasters made him depressed and become a homeless vagrant until one day in 1978 when he entered a small brad and told his ill-fated life story to a bartender who was older than him. the bartender felt really pity on him and said he would help him to find the lost vagrant who made her pregnant and discarded her. The only thing he needed to do was to join their “Time Travel Army”. So they boarded the “time shuttle” and went back to the past. When it arrived at the station of 1963, the bartender let him out. So he was a vagrant in 1963 now. He fell in love with a girl who grew up in the orphanage and made her pregnant. Then the bartender again pulled him onto the “Time Shuttle” and it went forward for over nine moths, and took the new born baby girl. Then he drove the time shuttle backwards to the 1954 station, and dropped her in the Cleveland orphanage. Then the bartender brought the bewildered vagrant to 1985, and made him join their “Time Travel Army”. Getting a regular job, the vagrant’s life went better and better and was gradually promoted to a higher position in the Army. One day, in order to carry out a special task, he was assigned to fly back to 1970 and disguise to be a bartender to persuade a vagrant into the army.

这个故事最剽悍的一点就是，它的主人公，其实只是一个人的多重身份。自己孤独的长大，爱上自己，并自己使自己受孕，自己抛弃自己，自己生下自己，自己绑架了自己的孩子，然后自己变成流浪汉，自己走进酒吧，向自己倾诉苦涩命运，博得自己的同情，承诺自己要带自己通过时间飞车回到过去，看看自己的命运之谜到底是怎么回事。看清之后，方知一切都是苦难都是自己造成的。万般无奈，回到现实，还好有了稳定工作后一切都好起来，后来一次执行任务，自己乘坐时间列车回到过去的某天，扮演成自己，邀请自己加入自己的团队。

他所有的命运都是自己造成的，这是事实。但是！！关键的是，他在做这些事的时候毫不知情，而且并非出自己的选择！尤其是抛弃自己怀孕的妻子，绑架自己新生的女儿这两件莫名其妙的事。而一声不吭，不带任何情感的让他做这些事的酒吧侍应生，那时的举动真像一个万能的天地不仁的上帝。

时间列车和变性手术，是故事中人物身份转换的关键。

一去不回的时间，一向是我们最恐惧的敌人。多少人都是梦想能够回到过去，这个故事却告诉我们，即使回到过去，却没有选择或修改往事（也即修改过去做过的选择）的权利，是一件更可悲的事。

这个故事看得人倍感无助。故事中有那么多的“自己”，却从来没有一个“自由”。

另外，而故事中仅有的两个没被自己扮演过的角色是做变性手术的医生，和那个让他执行人物的上级。为了剽悍到底也宿命到底，我干脆给故事再续一句，“自己加入自己的团队后，具体职位是医生，刚上任就被并外派到遥远的1963和1964年一带执行任务，给自己做变性手术。手术成功后，升职为自己的上级！”
