I am in Rio de Janiero. However the first time 20 years ago was historic because I took 2 camera crews with me and we filmed everywhere in Brazil and even interviewed the President Sarney.  It was aired on CCTV as part of the TV series I produced that was the first one that introduced the world to the whole nation.  

又来到里约热内卢，上次来是20年前了，我带着两个摄制组过来，到处拍，还采访到了President Sarney。这就是后来中央电视台播的“世界各地”。

Rio is physically a beautiful city. With the most beautiful beaches and stunning mountains behind it.  The Rio Carnival is world famous and I had never attended.

里约热内卢是很漂亮的城市，浪漫的海滩，起伏的群山。还有前面说过的嘉年华会，一开就是好几天。

Brazilians know how to throw a party.  The first day, I am convinced that there is no one else in the world who can throw a better and more glamorous party.  The biggest event today in Rio is the Copacabana Palace Hotel ball which is a great hotel.  It did not start until midnight!  I lost count of the people. If the number is astonishing, the costumes they wore were absolutely the most incredible. 
巴西人真知道怎么开party，第一天我就被他们开party的阵势给惊呆了。最大的活动竟然在午夜开始（可能因为白天实在太热了），到处都是人，我已经数不过来了。不过这么多人的背后就是这么多套衣服啊，这个更是了不起。

 The young dancers wore the most skimpy clothes.But they were just gorgeous. There is the Asians, the blacks and the Caucasians.  what a mix pot.  So the people are truly beautiful. 

 The people  I was told by my colleagues of LOREAL which does an enormous amount of business in Brazil that it is the most interesting country for them to do research because the skin color and type in Brazil are so varied.  They range from the lightest skin and then to the darkest.
And Samba.  the music was all Samba.  They played this rhythm all night.  All night.  it was amazing.  Samba is the sound of Brazil.  They can play one song all night for 5 hours anda everyone danced and sang to it!  Really exciting beat!
The party lasted till at least 5am.  I can hear it because my room was just below the party.  I had an impossible time to go to sleep. 
I wish to share some of the pictures I took, including the incredible decoration of the ball.  I wish we had something like that in China.  We have to build such a traditional！
