I was in Tokyo last week, I
went to a little sushi bar. This is
the kind of sushi places I like to go in
Japan. This is the owner and has
been running this place for 40 years.
A little place like this has fish from all over
the place…like this tuna, from Hokkaido in the northern tip of
Japan.
When I
arrived at the island of Sardinia in Italy, I was greeted by 3 guys
who sang and danced for me…thus giving me a very special start for
a very special stay in this famous
island.

I was invited by the Aga Khan who 60 years ago
developed this huge part of the island into the most prestigious
resort with 4 great hotels and perhaps the most famous yacht club
in the world! Imagine the vision of
this man. If you do not know who he
is, please Google him. He is a
Muslim, but considered to be a living god by the
Ismaili's.
He is the leader of this group…and
every year they pay a tithe to him.
The Aga(great) Khan (king) is today 72
years old. He lives in Sardinia and
many places in the world. In the
northern part of Pakistan he has a kingdom where people put his
picture in a shrine and bring flowers to him. Very interesting man!
He also was educated in Harvard, known to be a play boy that has 2
ex-wives, has a large stable of racing horses, 2 jet planes and he
is a friend of kings and queens and prime ministers. He also does a
lot of philanthropy work around the world.
One of the most fascinating
personalities in this century.

beautiful. Good ceramics like this
lamp I love. They also make
beautiful linens, and sea-related jewelry like coral and
pearls.
Sardinia is the place for the rich, famous and
the beautiful. Shown here with me
are some pretty famous faces…Giocetta from Rome and Lucia, an
actress from London.
Jen, the tall and handsome gentleman in a white
suite is the manager of the Cala di Volpe, one of the great hotels
of the Sardinia coast called Costa Smeralda.
之前我在北京为一群来中国访问的非常有权威的美国立法者作演讲。伊丽莎白经济组织(在我右边穿白色衣服的) 是一个在美国享有很高威望的组织。从媒体和美籍华裔女子的角度来看，这将有利于这些人更了解中国。她说："我必须来，因为我将是他们可以听到的唯一的女性。我不知道他们可以学到多少关于中国，但是我肯定告诉他们笑的时候要说“羽-西”。他们不是都看起来很开心吗？
I went to Beijing to give a
speech for a group of very powerful lawmakers visiting from United
States. Elizabeth Economy (lady in white on right side) is with
Council on Foreign Relations, a very prestigious organization in
the United States. Thought it would be good for these people to
understand more about doing business in China, from the
perspectives of media and a Chinese American woman. She said I must
come because I was going to be the only woman they would hear
from. I do not know how much they
learned about China, but I certainly taught them how to smile by
saying YU-XI. They looked pretty
happy right?
