不过,这一报道主要集中在北方几个州,显然记者跑的地方有限.众所周知,南方广大地区更便宜.比如得州这栋两百平方米左右的房子,也才十四万美元.这在南方遍地都是.
这栋三百多平方米的豪宅,也才三十四万不到.所以我常开玩笑说,在得州,可以住得如奴隶主一样.在我所在的麻省,则住得则象个奴隶.
