7月20日，Pony独自启程，由北京飞上海，在那里同其他团友会合，共同飞往瑞士，参加为期21天的瑞士蒙塔纳国际夏令营。

这是他第二次到瑞士夏令营，去年他已经去过一次。瑞士蒙塔纳夏令营改变他很多，这些变化，有些是突飞猛进的，比如说他学会了如何快速换床单被罩；有些是潜移默化的，比如说他懂得了如何控制自己的情绪，与人和谐相处；有些变化显而易见，比如说他轻松通过了英国伦敦三一学院的英语口语六级考试；有些变化有目共睹，比如说他开始壮实得像小牛犊⋯⋯21天夏令营，期待它能带来天翻地覆的改变，绝对不切实际，但是，在Pony身上，夏令营确实变成他成长中重要的一级台阶，大家都眼见着他从此走得更远，飞得更高。

临行前，我和他进行了一次关于夏令营的对话。整个对话，没有预设，结果却变成我用中文问，他用英语答。他的英语并不是每句都标准，但绝对是没打草稿的现场发挥版，不到十岁的孩子能够做到如此，瑞士夏令营有它的贡献。

以下是我根据录音整理的对话实录，英文之后我做了中文意译。

妈妈：你觉得上一个瑞士的夏令营有什么特别的意义吗？

Pony：The summer camp Montana is a special place for me. My GESE（Graded Examinations in Speakers of Other Languages）examiner once asked me a question, ”Why did you go to a summer camp in Switzerland instead of a Chinese one? ” I answered, because a Switzerland summer camp can give you a dreamland, that is a place you can make friends all over the world, but in China, all the summer campers are Chinese, there is no one from other country, there are no much friends you can make with, in Switzerland you can make friends as many as you want. 

（瑞士蒙塔纳夏令营对我是个很特别的地方。我的伦敦三一口语考官曾经问过我一个问题：“为什么你会选择上一个瑞士夏令营而不是一个中国夏令营？”我回答：因为瑞士夏令营能够给你一个梦想之地，在那里，你可以和全世界的伙伴做朋友，但是在中国的夏令营，营员们都是中国孩子，没有一个来自国外，你没有办法交到更多国际朋友，而在瑞士，你想交多少就交多少。）  

 

妈妈：如果用三个词形容蒙塔纳夏令营，你会用哪三个？

Pony：Friends. Meals. Soccer. Friends can make you happy when you feel sad, meals can make you stronger, and soccer is a good thing to learn friendship, the contest is next, but the friendship is the first.

（朋友、美食、足球。在你悲伤时，朋友带给你快乐，美食让身体更强壮，而足球让人懂得什么是友谊，比赛永远是第二位的，而友谊总是排第一。）

妈妈：听说你的同学也特别想去夏令营，但他们的爸爸妈妈觉得这个夏令营太贵了，不值得，你能说服他们吗？

Pony：Nothing is more expensive than happiness. If a man lost happiness, he wouldn’t feel good, and he wouldn’t have friends. If children didn’t feel happy, they wouldn’t want to be good kids. If everybody lost happiness, the world would become as cold as Antarctica. So I think if you sent your children to Switzerland summer camp, it is expensive, but it worth it.

（没有任何东西比快乐更值钱。如果一个人如果失去快乐，他就不会感觉很好，他也很难交到朋友；如果孩子们感觉不到快乐，他们就不会想做好孩子；如果每个人都失去快乐，这世界就会变得像南极一样冰冷。所以我觉得，如果你送孩子到瑞士夏令营，它是很贵，但是值得。）

妈妈：你觉得只有玩才能happy吗？

Pony：Not only fun can get happiness. I can tell you a story. In the school final test, we did a lot of homework我们everyday, we didin’t feel happy at all, so when we came back home, we played and played, but we were not happy, because you wouldn’t be happy without friends to share with, so we called five friends to play together, and we got happy and high score too.  

（不是只有玩才能得到快乐。我讲个故事：学校期末考试的时候，我们每天做很多功课，一点不快乐。于是我们回到家里就拼命玩啊玩，可是仍旧不快乐，因为快乐只有和人分享才是真正的快乐，所以我们打电话叫来五个同学一起玩，我们不但快乐了，考试分数也不错。）

妈妈：你在夏令营里遇到的最大挑战是什么？

Pony：I think there are no hard things in summer camp except your feeling. When you feel bad, you may do something crazy, you don’t know when is the right time and where is the right place. As my counselor said when you get angry, you can find a place to let them out , but you shouldn’t do it in public. 

（我觉得没有什么比清楚自己的感觉更难的事了。当你感觉不好时，你也许会做出一些发飙的事，但是你找不对事件和地点。我的辅导员告诉我，当你觉得愤怒时，你可以找个地方发泄一下，但是，不能是在公共场所。）

妈妈：很多中国孩子选择在夏令营里学英语，你为什么选择学法语呢？

Pony：I think learning French can make more friends, feel more special, get more wisdom.  

（我觉得学法语可以交到更多朋友，感觉更特别，收获更多。）

妈妈：嘿，你怎么看夏令营里的美女啊？

Pony：Three words in Chinese, 臭美！臭美！臭美！

妈妈：男生啊？

Pony：Three words in Chinese, 耍酷！耍酷！耍酷！

妈妈：你想不想将来到夏令营里去做counselor？

Pony：Three words in English, of course! of course! of course!

妈妈：你觉得这个夏令营改变你最多的是什么？

Pony：This summer camp has changed my habbit, changed forever, and I want more again, because habbits can change a person who he is. I don’t understand such things about the summer camp: Why it changed me? Why I did changed? Why I am being changed? What is it changing?    

（夏令营彻底改变了我的一个习惯，我还期待它能改变更多，因为习惯能够改变人。我一直想不明白的是：为什么夏令营改变了我？为什么我真的变了？为什么我一直在变？它一直在改变的是什么？）

妈妈：夏令营教给你的智慧是什么？

Pony：It gives me wisdom to see the world, it gives me wisdom to learn things, it gives me wisdom to make friends, it gives me wisdom to know how to control yourself. 

（它教给我看世界的智慧，它教给我学习的智慧，它教给我交友的智慧，它教会我如何把控自己。）

妈妈：你第二次到夏令营的动力是什么？

Pony：My counselor told me how to control my feelings, when he waved goodbye to me at the last time of the summer camp, sadness became a burst of wind, blew into my heart, I felt very sad, this camp is a place you make friends, but now you had to leave it, I thought I should come back again, it was just like a promise.

（在夏令营，我的辅导员告诉我如何控制自己的情绪，最后一天，当他向我挥手告别时，悲伤就像一阵轻风，吹进我心房，我觉得特别难过，在夏令营里你交到朋友，但是又不得不离别，当时我想，我应该回来，这决心就仿佛是一个承诺。）

妈妈：第二次去夏令营，你有什么期待？

Pony：Read more books, make more friends, play more happier, don’t be angry. 

（读更多书，交更多朋友，玩得更high，不发火。）

妈妈：你还想去第三次吗？

Pony：Maybe I go to the camp for the third time, but I’m afraid that my parents will not have so much money to pay the fee. So I think, maybe, next year after next year I will go.

（也许我会去第三次，但是我有点担心爸爸妈妈没有那么多钱了。所以，也许，明年的明年，我再去吧。）

妈妈：关于夏令营，还有什么想说的吗？

Pony：This summer camp is the best one I have ever been to. A great camp may raise your dream in the sky up high, give us happy, friends and laugh. Summer camp, thank you very much.

（蒙塔纳夏令营是我上过的最好的一个夏令营。一个了不起的夏令营，应该托起你的梦，把它举上天空，给我们带来欢乐、朋友和笑声。谢谢你，夏令营。）

妈妈：最后问一个问题，在你心目中，夏令营究竟是什么？

Pony：I think the summer camp is like a train, you can learn from the beginning to the end, of course, there isn’t an end. I have learned something like that, going on the right way and never give up.

（夏令营就像一列火车，在这列车上，你可以从头学到尾，当然，其实并没有“尾”。我学到的东西是：选对路，不放弃。）

这段对话结束十几个小时后，Pony只身飞往上海。第二次到瑞士蒙塔纳夏令营，他带了手机、日记、久石让的音乐和《安妮日记》。这一次，重返故地，依旧21天，依旧在Junior组里，他会经历什么？改变什么？又会收获什么？

那又将是一次怎样的对话夏令营呢？
