Mrs. Luo Zhongyuan, a 49-year-old woman from Weijiacha Village of Wuzhong City in Southern Ningxia, has been suffering the pain and sadness caused by blood cancer tumor for almost one year since March 05. This miserable experience makes her crying day and night. The pillow is all wet.

The tumor was located at back haunch a year ago. She first founded not comfortable in Nov 04. Her husband took her to Lanzhou and Yinchuan. Finally, it turned out to be a tumor. An operation in March 05 removed the tumor, and it cost her family 13,000 Yuan. So far, the family has spent more than 70,000 Yuan. Luo Zhongyuan’s two sons all work in Hohhot as construction workers, and the income is all used for paying back. “I don’t want to be dead. I am only 49 years old now. I still wanna be with my family for years. There is no animosity between me and anyone. Why should I suffer this pain?”

Yang Zhiying, her husband and the headmaster of local primary school, said:”3,000 Yuan was borrowed from dear money in March 05. The interest is 10% a month. The debtee has gangsters. I don’t know what could happen if I couldn’t pay back. When I sold my family’s food supplies for paying back, my 4-year-old twin granddaughters said:’ Granddaddy! I would die for hunger if you sold out the food. I feel hungry.’ I felt so sad at that moment. She is my wife. It’s my responsibility to heal her disease.”

Currently, the doctor in Yinchuan told them chemical treatment is quite important. There will be 5 periods of treatment, and each period has 5 times. This can extend Luozhongyuan’s life for another 10 years. Without the chemical treatment, she will possibly pass away soon. However, the 25,000 Yuan cost of the chemical treatment is a huge barrier. Moreover, the family still have 70,000 debt, including 3,000 from dear money. The bank gets debt back from Yang Zhiying’s salary. He doesn’t receive any salary now.
