    因老爷顶处在一座四面绝壁环崖、“太行第一红岩峡谷”里的孤峰云岛之上，太行云海胜景因地势、海拔和气候常在老爷顶四周峡谷蒸腾升起，其势汹涌澎湃，宛如海浪翻卷。置身云顶上，烟云锁太行，无不让游人“身临天下第一顶，鸟瞰峡盆稀世景，云海飘波人欲醉，雾涛拍浪山已醒”。以下为在归真台一带拍摄的景观：

    山顶现存玄武庙建筑群落，遵循道教“道法自然”精髓，依山就势，高低布局，层次错落有致，建筑风格典雅古朴、别具风味。据说，当时在山顶只有一条猿迹小道，行人爬似上天，庙顶覆盖的铁瓦全部是由山羊背驮上山，而千余斤的铁锅和巨大的祖师铁像是怎样坐落到山顶，战乱期间又被何人毁踪灭迹，实为令人不得其解。
