北崔崖具有典型的石灰岩喀斯特地貌，这在山东一地不太多见。村北道路两旁、遇龙河沿岸常见峭壁嶙峋，怪石突兀，颇有云贵山貌之特征：

    北崔崖村南的断层山牛角山，海拔726米，垂直险峻，气势雄伟。尤其是开发为景区后近年才新建的九曲栈道，蜿蜒盘旋，直达山顶，不仅为游客登山提供了方便，也为山间增添了景致（从另外一个方面说，修建这样的木栈道肯定花费不菲，一个山村有此投入也很难，景区收费也就无可厚非了）：

    半山腰上的藏兵洞（搞不清究竟是何人在此藏兵——网上也搜不到），又称为牛耳洞？亦传为孙膑牧牛处，众说纷纭。但难以理解的是古人于此如何出入、生活：
