希拉穆仁草原是内蒙古自治区最早开辟的草原旅游点，当地政府及有关组织不断投资建设，目前已有很多的旅游接待点，接待设施也比较完善。游客不仅可以观赏草原美景，还可以住蒙古包（大多是改建成专作旅游所住的），享用草原民族的典型风味餐饮，体会独特浓郁的蒙古民族文化风情。如果你有时间和缘分，还可欣赏蒙古族的传统体育活动赛马、摔跤、射箭、和马术表演等。我们这次所到的目的地——古列延旅游度假区就是一处著名的草原旅游点。

    旅游区的文化娱乐活动内容丰富。晚餐中，游客可以观赏、品尝蒙古族风味大餐——烤全羊，欣赏蒙古族歌舞表演，感受蒙古仪式敬酒；晚餐后，这里有篝火晚会，游客们可以欣赏蒙古歌舞表演，也可以参与其中尽情舞蹈：
