前七篇博文介绍的葵花都是周边地区附近地点的。由于季节已过，本以为今年的葵花篇章就此作结了，没想到去了一趟内蒙古草原，又见到了喜人的向日葵花海，这下就再来一篇塞外葵花篇。

    日前，跟旅行社去晋北西蒙作了一次短期旅行。车行塞外，不时见到路边一片片的葵花田，无奈行不由己，只认一幕幕花海风景在眼前飘过。在达茂联合旗希拉穆仁草原，趁导游安排的骑马时间段，看到远处一片向日葵花田，我等几人突破两道铁丝围栏，穿越到这片草木丰茂的地方，终于见到了塞外葵花海，算是了却了一番心愿。

    由于气候、环境、土地等多种因素的影响，这里的向日葵花与内地的相比，还是有一些不同。花开得不像我们内地那样地整齐，花开花落，有早有晚；可能是因为终日风沙侵蚀之故，这些向日葵植株粗壮, 叶片均显残缺破损, 颜色深沉，其花型则有些粗犷、豪放......

    这里的葵花还有一大特点是，很多的葵花头是直直地向上、向天开的，这与内地我们时常所见的弯头是不同的：
