10月23日，中国工商银行•“起源地杯”2019年国际足球锦标赛在起源地淄博•临淄开赛。

    本次赛事由中国足球协会指导、中国工商银行冠名、淄博市人民政府主办，山东省足球运动协会、淄博市体育局、临淄区人民政府、山东鸿成教育科技有限公司承办，淄博市足球运动协会、临淄区教育和体育局、临淄足球博物馆协办。共有来自英国狼队、日本鹿岛鹿角、韩国蔚山现代和中国河北华夏幸福足球俱乐部的四支青年队参加比赛。

    2016年，经中国足球协会批准，淄博市开始举办“起源地杯”国际足球锦标赛，并作为中国足协的年度固定赛事，今年已是第四届。

    10月23日，中国工商银行•2019“起源地杯”——国际青年足球锦标赛第一天的两场比赛，在淄博市体育中心和临淄区齐都体育场分别开赛。在淄博市体育中心体育场的比赛，由英国英超狼队U17对阵日本J联赛强队鹿岛鹿角U17。在临淄区齐都体育场，是中超的河北华夏幸福U17队迎战韩国K联赛的蔚山现代U17队。

    尽管是U17的比赛，但双方的拼抢比较激烈。原以为来自K联赛的蔚山现代队实力会较强，但比赛过程并不如此。倒是河北华夏幸福在开场后一度占据上风，优势明显，前20多分钟蔚山现代队竟没有像样的射门。但上半场双方均无建树，踢成0:0。下半场第50分钟，河北华夏幸福在右路组织起来漂亮的进攻，由8号在门前近射破门，先拔头筹。但随后蔚山现代队进攻有了起色，终于在第66分钟扳平比分。最终，河北华夏幸福U17队韩国蔚山现代U17队1:1战平。
