青岛中山公园是青岛市著名的综合性公园，与青岛天泰体育场一路之隔。公园三面环山，南向汇泉湾大海；东傍太平山，与青岛植物园相接；北靠青岛动物园、青岛榉林公园，西依百花苑。园内林木繁茂，枝叶葳蕤，近百种林木与公园的四时花木连为一体，树海茫茫，是青岛市区植被景观最有特色的风景区。

    每年的4月初，中山公园内万木复苏，草长莺飞，玉兰、梅花、连翘等春花植物次第开放，这里成为市民赏花踏青、休闲娱乐的好去处。之后，便是闻名遐迩的樱花节，中山公园人山人海，男女老少，三五成群，尽情的留恋于满园的春色里，到处都是一派和乐融融的景象。

    20多年前，中山公园引进了荷兰郁金香。于是，每年的“五一”节之前后，人们到这里除了观赏樱花，还可以欣赏到艳丽大方的郁金香，观赏郁金香已成为中山公园继赏樱花、菊花后的又一盛景。

    你看，一片片、一丛丛的郁金香竞相开放，红的、粉的、黄的、紫的，艳丽而温馨，在一片片樱花、一道道小树篱和平整的草坪、高大的乔木装点下，中山公园又别具异国风情。
