龟蒙中路是目前由蒙山坊登主峰龟蒙顶的主道，全程7公里，其中有石阶5888级。这一路丛林深幽，景色旷远，颇具奇险之美。主要景点有万寿宫、蒙祠遗址、翠竹园、九龙潭、白云岩、鹰窝峰、气浴清新等20多处。

    这次登临蒙山，来回走的都是龟蒙中路，但是因为几天了一直下雨，加上这里植被茂密，水汽极大，一整天几乎就是在浓雾中度过的，路上能见度不远，近景都有些模糊，远处的更是不得见，好多景点都无从领略其风姿，只有观看雾中之景了。
