All-New 2025 BMW X3 Leaks Way Ahead of Reveal, iX-Inspired Design Feels Obvious

A few social media outlets are currently reporting on a potential 2025 BMW X3 (G45) fourth generation getting leaked across the Internet - the reactions are just as wacky as the fresh styling.
Suppose you’ve watched the ongoing BMW saga. In
that case, you already know that some of the diehard enthusiasts of
the Bavarian brand are in despair and desolation over the company’s
decision to innovate their models in terms of design at all costs –
and in all directions almost at the same time. Here, let us give
you a few examples.
Just recently, Alpina – now a wholly-owned subsidiary – presented
the B3 and B4 GT versions with 529-horsepower and odd four-door
coupe proportions. Well, at least they were on par with the
recently launched BMW 3 Series LCI (it's the second refresh,
actually) and especially the M3 Competition, which now churns out
523 horsepower. Take a look at the new headlight design,
especially.
But then they also announced the new BMW 1 Series along with the
hot-hatch-flavored M135i that boasts 312 horsepower and won’t make
it into the United States. Again, take a look at the headlights
because they have a completely different LED DLR setup, and also,
the grille looks more like a bowtie now rather than a twin coffin
assembly or a buck-toothed beaver from children’s cartoons!
Now they have allegedly done it again – their design team has
potentially come up with yet another headlight and grille design in
the span of just a few weeks. More precisely, an image allegedly
belonging to the all-new
G45 fourth generation 2025 BMW X3 showcases the plug-in hybrid
version (note the front charging port on the left side) with a
different, double L-shaped LED DRL assembly and a radiator grille
that’s not just as big as two shields set next to each other but
also crossed with slats from two different directions!
Naturally, the reactions across social media are ramping – and this
might be the real deal because not long ago, the rumor mill caught
wind of
a leak that presented the new headlight assembly, probably as a
spare part. What do you think about this new styling if it pans out
on the popular BMW X3? Or maybe this is the next iX3 based on the
Neue Klasse styled to be as controversial as the iX?
Anyway, as always, the comments sections of these leaked
discoveries are hilarious, instructive, crazy, wacky, and all at
the same time. Maybe that’s what BMW was hoping for all along – to
create buzz around its models at any cost. They are certainly a
hotter topic of discussion among car enthusiasts than the ritzy
Cadillac, the boring Audi, or the traditional Mercedes-Benz. What
