一、主题
物华天宝,人杰地灵,一方水土养育一方人。无论是见过河流遍布,温暖美丽的江南水乡,亦或是游览过千里冰封,万里雪飘的北国风光,水终是家乡甜,月仍是家乡圆。我们将随着文本一步步深入,走进牛津初中英语七年级下册Unit 3 Welcome to Sunshine Town,展示家乡。
二、教学过程
Comic strip
Step 1 Lead-in
Watch and answer.

通过播放歌曲迅速把学生的注意力引入到课堂里,为新单元授课做准备。
Step 2 Presentation

三、结论
在这节课的教学中,通过表演有趣的漫画,让学生在表演中运用英语,不仅提升了课堂的乐趣,并且训练了学生的语言运用能力。接着,将话题引至招待朋友,对学生的实际生活进行引领,并为接下来的学习内容Welcome to the unit做好铺垫和过渡。再由虚拟的阳光镇过渡到学生们自己的家乡——南通,联系生活实际,拉近了与学生的距离,使英语学习生活化,使学生切身体会到学有所用,对家乡能有更多角度、更深层次的认识和思考,将热爱家乡的情愫融入生命的每一个角落。
四、感想
树高千丈,落叶归根。家乡是心灵的寄托,温暖的港湾。学生们通过探究学习从文本中了解阳光镇的生活环境,休闲方式等内容,能够迁移描述自己的家乡,安排家乡游的活动计划,完成一篇关于家乡的实践活动,从而对自己的家乡产生强烈的归属感和自豪感,培养正确的人生观、价值观。
