Unit 4    My Home

Teaching  contents :Part A   let’s learn & let’s do

Teaching  time  arrangement :40minutes

Teaching Aims:

1．能听、说、认读study, bathroom, bedroom, living room, kitchen等单词并能在日常生活中运用。

 2．能听懂“Let’s do”中的指示语，并按照指令做相应的动作。

 3．能听懂、会说：Welcome to my home!并能简单描述自己的房间。

 4．通过学习使学生的语言运用能力得到发展，培养学生对家的热爱之情。

Teaching important points:

  1.说、认读单词：study, bathroom, living room, bedroom, kitchen。

2.学习表示指令的词组。

Teaching difficulties:

  1.单词study, bathroom, bedroom的发音。

  2.让学生在语言的复习巩固活动中听、说、认读单词。

1.     The word cards

Teaching procedures:

Step1.Warming up (5minutes)

1. Greetings（1minutes）

2. Sing a song: Hello, what’s your name?(2minutes)

3. Guessing(2minutes)

Step2.Presentation (16minutes)

1.     观看ppt, 呈现Amy’s home,比如指着某个房间中摆设的物品，导入单词study,教读，板书，念读单词。(3minutes)

2.     Let’s do(3minutes)

Ask Ss: What can we do in the study? 教师做“read a book”的动作，then let Ss read: go to the study, read a book and do the action.

3.     Use this way to teach others words.(8minutes)

4.     Look at the pictures of the screen, summarize the five words just learned.(2minutes)

Step3.Practice (16minutes)

1.     Let’s play(3minutes)

Display five room pictures, let the students read out fast.

2.     Guessing game: look at the ppt,猜猜仙女在哪？(3minutes)

3.     Play the matching game(2minutes)

4.     Quick response game: (6minutes)

a) 教师一一出示本课单词卡，让学生抢读或拼读。

b) 教师出示单词卡，让一组学生（面向单词卡）根据词卡说指令，另一组学生做出相应的动作，两组轮流进行。

c) 心有灵犀

  两大组各选一个代表上台，教师给其中一个学生看一张房间的图片或单词卡，然后让这个学生做出一些与该房间有关的动作，让另一个学生猜看到的是什么房间的图片或单词卡（最起码要说出房间单词，最好说出

Let’s do 部分的相应指令；如果该生只说出了房间单词，那么他或她所在的组要说出指令），看看是否心有灵犀。

5.     Listen to the tape, do the action . (2minutes)

Step4. Consolidation (2minutes)

          Look at the multimedia and review the lesson.

Step 5.Homework (1minutes)

1.   Copy the words five times.

2.   Design a home you like best.

Teaching reflection:

本节课我通过情景教学法、小组活动学习法来完成本课时的任务。情境教学法：教学中给学生创造情境，激发了学生想说的欲望，也有利于学生语言表达能力的提高。小组活动法：把全班分成四人小组，课堂各项教学活动匀以小组活动为主线，结对或全班活动为辅，学生互相交流，切磋，共同完成学习任务，在合作中感受学习英语 的乐趣及交流的意义，同时也培养了学生的集体荣誉感。在教学过程中，我以PPT贯穿始终，使得教学直观形象，且环节上环环相扣。如在热身环节中，我以一首歌曲带领学生迅速地进入了英语学习的状态。在呈现新单词时，我采用了整体呈现的方式进行教学，词不离句，培养学生的认读能力。在操练中我采用了游戏竞猜的方式，使学生情绪高涨。接着，通过创设情景，由易到难，层层深入地让学生进行操练练习。最后，将学生所学单词进行句子拓展，充分发挥学生的想象力和创造力，同时培养了学生的英语综合运用的能力。整个课堂学生情绪高涨，能积极主动地参与每一个教学活动中来，师生配合非常默契。由于时间关系，在最后一个拓展环节，我没能让更多的学生到台前为描述自己的家，学生的语言运用的能力没有得到最大限度的发挥。
