首届中美文化交流学生代表发言稿

The speech of the intercultural communication activities between Texas and Ankang International Middle School 

尊敬的Willis先生，各位领导，老师，家长们，同学们：

大家早上好:

Dear distinguished Mr Willis，respected leaders，teachers and parents and students：

Good morning everybody

我是安康市高新国际中学特聘学生校长和学生会主席，胡庆玲，非常高兴能够代表安康市高新国际中学一千五百余名师生在此发言。

I am the vice-principal and chairman of the Student Union of Ankang Gaoxin international middle school, and today on the behalf of more than one thousand and five hundred students and teachers, I deliver this speech here.

首先，感谢Randy Willis校长和您的同事不远万里来到安康，给我们提供这样一个了解美国文化和教育的机会，同时，感谢各位家长，校长和老师们在百忙之中抽出时间参加此次由我校主办的中美文化交流活动。

First of all, I want to express my warm welcome to the arrival of Mr Willis and your assailant and also express my gratitude for you giving us such a great opportunity to know the America culture and education, and at the same time I want to express my gratitude to principals, teachers and students parents for attending the intercultural communication activities between the China and the U.S holding in our school.

首先，请允许我介绍一下我们这个美丽的小城，安康。安康，位于陕西东南部，总人口310万，气候宜人，民风淳朴，我相信，各位尊贵的客人，一定会在安康，度过一段美好的时光。

Next, please allow me to introduce our beautiful city to all of you. Ankang is located in the southeast of Shaanxi province, the total population of this city is about 3 million. In Ankang, the climate here is pleasant. People here enjoy a relaxed and comfortable life. I believe that all distinguished guests will have a great time in our great city.

接下来，请让我来为大家介绍我们的学校，安康市高新国际中学总投资3.58亿元，按照一流标准投资建设并自主管理，是目前安康市设计标准最高，投资规模最大，办学条件最好的一所寄宿制完全中学。学校现有初一10个教学班，高一17个教学班，1个国际班，共计学生1300余人，教职工200余人。

Then, I will introduce our school to all of you. Ankang Gaoxin international middle school was a modern school  built on the highest standard in Shaanxi provice. And we take a way of self-management to manage our school. At present, our school is the best school is the biggest and has the first-class facilities in Ankang. There are 10 classes in our Grade seven and 17 class in Grade 10,we also have an international class. And we have one thousand and three hundred students and more than one hundred and sixty teachers.

自办学以来，各项教育教学工作和学生活动扎实开展，学生成绩和能力得到不断提升，在2013年秋季全市高中阶段期末统考中年级平均成绩达到全市前列。

Since our school opened, with the teaching work and varieties of students’ activities gradually carried out, our school has made a great progress and improvement in our students’ scores and our students’ abilities of studying and communication and independent to live and think. Our school’s average scores in our final exam in the autumn of 2013 obtained the forefront of the city among the other high schools.多项赛事在全省乃至全国取得了优异成绩，其中在“语文报杯”中学生作文大赛中，我校学生骆天兵同学荣获全国特等奖，多名学生获一、二、三等奖；在全国3D仿真机器人大赛中，我校有多名学生获奖,其中李明学荣获一等奖；在其它各项体育赛事中，我校学生也频频获奖。总之，办学效果获得了社会各界和家长的一致好评。

And we students got a lot of awards in the competition holding in our province, especially in our country. For example, our school’s students Luo Tianbing won the national grand prize in national composition contest held by Chinese newspaper, other student won the first,second and three prizes. And, what is more, our school’s students Li Mingxue won the national first prize in national stimulation robot contest. We also got some other awards in PE 、csic and art competitions We have got the excellent evaluation from our students’ parents and social media.

作为一所国际中学，我校自立校以来，一直注重培养学生的国际视野并大力开展世界范围内的文化交流活动。

As an international middle school, we always pays attention to cultivate the students' international vision and vigorously carry out different kinds of cultural exchanges activates around the world.

2013年底，在我校余江校长的带领下，我校国际班的师生到美国加州的一些学校进行了友好访问，让我校师生亲自感受美国学生的学校生活和美国人民的社会生活。

At the end of last year, under the guidance of our principal Yu Jiang, teachers and students of our school’s international class paid a friendly visit to some schools in California and this visit let our school teachers and students experience the school life of American students and American people's social life.

通过亲身体会，我校师生更加深刻的感受到了中国教育的不足，为我校的国际化教育的办学之路积累了经验，增长了广大师生走出国门与世界接轨的信心。

Through the visit, we deeply felt that our country’s education need more improvement and we also get some information about the future educational development. It also helps our school lay the foundation of the internationalization school education and help our students and teachers increase the confidence to go toward the world.

“有朋自远方来，不亦乐乎”当得知Willis校长一行将来我们学校访问之后，全校师生无不欢欣鼓舞。我相信，高新国际中学的全体师生，将会全力以赴的做好服务工作，确保此次交流活动圆满成功。

As the old saying goes, it is delightful to have  friends coming from a faraway place, and about the arrival of the principal the Randy Willis, we will show our great enthusiastic and full expectation in our deeply heart. And we believe that all our teachers and students will do an excellent service jobs for you distinguished guests and ensure this cultural communication activities to a have a complete successful.

在活动中，我们一定会热情地为美国朋友介绍中华文化，见识安康特色，体验校园生活，努力做到相互学习，相互尊重，相互理解，相互包容，争取建立起深厚的友谊，展示我们高新中学人“志学高远，求实立新”的校风，“察验真理，探赜索隐”的学风。

During your visit, we will introduce Chinese culture and something about the characteristics of traditional culture of Ankang. And you will also experience our middle school life. We will try our best to show our mutual respect, mutual understanding for establishing a profound friendship between we each other.

我相信，这是一次非常有意义，有价值的活动，此次活动定会为我们安康与德克萨斯州的交流写下新的篇章。最后，祝愿Randy Willis校长一行在安康的交流与生活顺利，愉快！预祝此次中美文化交流活动取得圆满成功！

I believe that this will be a very meaningful and valuable activity; this activity will build friendship bridge between Ankang and Texas. Finally, I wish Randy Willis principal will have and enjoy a great life in Ankang.

    At last but not least, we hope this international cultural exchange activities have a great success!
