Tobermory酒厂由John
Sinclair于1798年以“Ledaig”的名字创立，Ledaig在盖尔语中的意思是“safe
haven（避风港）”。
Tobermory于1837年关闭并于1878年重新开放，酒厂于1890年由John
Hopkins
&
Tobermory酒厂生产的麦芽威士忌首先运送到大陆的Deanston酒厂装入酒桶中，然后运送到艾雷岛的Bunnahabhain进行熟成。根据麦芽威士忌年鉴，总产量的50％是Tobermory（无泥炭），50％是Ledaig（现在是轻微的泥炭度，之前是重泥炭）。
Tobermory的主要产品是：10 year old和18 year old Ledaig，Tobermory 14 year old（尾段port桶熟成），12 year old Tobermory（熟成于palo cortado sherry桶），Ledaig 16 year old（American oak桶熟成），20 year old Ledaig（尾段moscatel桶熟成）。
