麓傍池塘绽菡萏，

绿裙浮水少女脸。

蜻蜓双翼扇，藏身云影间。

兴游荷花淀，昔朋引旧伴。

旧笔描新篇，翠叶更田田。

荷塘十里百丛树，香气凝烟绕花雾。不辨草径深藕处，叶底知了不宣许。却步，却步，粘得一身香露。

Did you make a mud puddle, and inserted a stick in the puddle area to attracted a butterfly or a dragonfly. 

When I was a child, I usually do this activity to catch them. Afterwards I collected a spider net to stick them.

Today I have found another way to catch them. First I can snatch a worm of caterpillar to weed by the leave or nectar and pollen, when it grows up, it would turn into a beautiful butterfly or dragonfly.

You can grow your own plants form native seeds to feed the foreign butterflies, but the plants’ bloom period is not too long, otherwise the butterflies can not choose the right time to migrate. The flowers are not too fragrant or nor sweet, if so the butterflies can not be appealed to, they can live their lives in the course of nature, normally to be active. I mean they can sleep in the evening and act in the daytime according their internal clock.
