1. Greeting and review

（5 mins）

1. Greet the students: Hello! Nice to meet you! Do you feel happy?

I have a friend. She came here with me. She feels happy, too. Do you want to see her?

2. Introduce Betty and her closet. And then let the students guess: What clothes are in her closet?

3. Open her closet and look at the clothes. Let the students look and read the words in groups.

1. Greet the teacher.

2. Guess what clothes are in Betty’s closet.

3.Look and say: What are they? And then read the clothes words in groups.

1. Teacher explains the sentence: What will I wear? with the actions.

2. Let the students guess what the clothes are talking.

T: Listen! Who is talking? (clothes) What are they talking? Can you guess?

3. Let the students guess what Betty will wear at the party.

4.. Listen the story and answer the questions: What will Betty wear? Why?

Guess what the clothes are talking.

通过预测导出故事。可以使用书上的句子或者他们可以想到的句子。

部分同学能够在老师的引导下预测出句子。

3. Read the story.

（8 mins）

1. Let the students read picture 1 to picture 4 and answer the questions:

Can Betty wear the shorts at a party? Why?

Can Betty wear the trousers and the T-shirt at a party? Why?

Can Betty wear the sweater at a party? Why?

2. Let the students read picture 5 to picture 8 and answer the questions:

Can Betty wear the shirt and skirt at a party?  Why?

Can Betty wear the scarf at a party? Why?

3. Read the story with the recorder. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation

4. Read the story with the recorder again and read in groups. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation
