约翰·丹佛（John Denver，1943年12月31日-1997年10月12日），生于新墨西哥州罗斯维尔城，美国乡村民谣歌手。约翰·丹佛是世界级的词曲作家和歌手。六十年代后期成名, 七十年代达到顶峰, 八、九十年代仍在继续演唱。他演唱过三百多首歌曲, 其中有二百首左右是他自己写的。他的演唱轻松自然、吐字清晰，他的歌曲旋律优美、歌词简单而抒情，唱的是大自然、乡情、爱情、日常的生活感受。
