我相信很多朋友跟我一样，痛恨战争。但历史又摆在那里，它就是战争与和平构成的。有战争就有战史。史为今鉴，告诉我们要珍惜和平。

自有照相机之后，战史变得很具象了。今天这组照片，是1941-1942年德国第291步兵师506团的战史。上图是他们进攻苏联前最后一处营地，拍摄于6月20日。这是该团团长古兰正在与下属研究战事。

这是该团骑兵排的官兵。到了拉脱维亚之后，他们会知道，秋天里，最舒服的就是自己。因为到处一片泥泞，不骑马很难走。

攻入拉脱维亚后的第二天，一脸疲惫，凝重。战争不是捉迷藏，一点也不好玩。朝夕相处的同袍，在枪炮面前，脆如烟火。

前面提到拉脱维亚的雨季到处又湿又烂。不过德军找到了个办法，那就是砍树铺圆木路。过人过马车都没什么问题。

发完勋章不久，古兰团长就调往别处了。这是他在下最后一道命令。
