教材分析

本课时是《PEP小学英语》三年级上册第四单元第一课时的内容，主要学习“What's this ? It's a.....”要求学生能感受语境，用新的语言思维来探究新的事物。

学情分析

三年级的小朋友初学英语，英语功底也很薄弱，我根据学生情况，以学生为主体，以激活他们对英语的兴趣为着入点。We love animals这一课围绕几只小动物展开对单词的认知，因为学生的年龄特点对动物也都很偏爱，所以在本课中我运用多样化教学手段使学生轻松掌握重难点。

知识与技能：能够听懂、会说句型What’s this? It’s a…;能够听、说、认读单词bear, pig, cat, duck, dog.

过程与方法：能通过肢体和思维活动，培养学生肢体活跃度和思维能力。

    能够听说认读词汇bear, pig, cat, duck, dog，掌握句型：What’s this? It’s a….

一、Warming up

（一）Greeting

T: Today we’ll learn together.

（二）Sing the song 《Old Macdonald》

   T: Firstly, Let’s enjoy a song. Old Macdonald. Let’s sing together.

二、Presentation

（一）Leading in

T：Well done! Boys and girls, do you like animals? Yes, me too. Now let’s enjoy a funny animal show.

呈现手影戏。

T: what do you see in the show?

Ss: 动物.

T: The animals! Wow, it’s cool! I think we can do that, too. I need a volunteer.

（二）单词学习

1.学习dog

师请一个学生上台做狗的手影，让学生一起模仿。

T: Look, what’s this?（板书 What’s this?）

Ss: 狗.

T: Yes, It’s a dog. （板书It’s a …）

带读，个别读，全班读，拼写。

T: dog, dog, it’s a dog.

呈现单词cat及句型操练。

2.学习pig、bear

通过简笔画呈现。

T: Boys and girls, I can draw. Now, I will draw some animals. Can you guess what’s this?

（画熊：it lives in the forest. It’s big and strong. It has black or brown fur and sharp paws. It eats meat. What’s this? ）

（画猪： It’s fat. It has small eyes, big nose, short tail and short legs. It likes eating and sleeping. What’s this?）

3.学习duck

猜谜语

T: Boys and girls, you are clever, could you help me to answer the riddle?呈现it can swim. It eats fish. It has a flat mouth. What’s this?

Ss: 鸭子。

   操练。

三、Practice

Four students in each group. Take out your cards and practice with these sentences: What’s this?  It’s a ….

小组内操练单词和句型。

四、学习课文
