医疗旅游是高端医疗热后的真正蓝海。虽然目前中国医疗旅游处于“早春”阶段，但是正如北京的春夏交替，不留意间就迈入夏天，医疗旅游是高端医疗热后的真正“蓝海”，预热之后的医疗旅游升温会非常快。

    为什么将医疗旅游称为“蓝海”呢？原因有以下几点：一是产业融合的加快，产业融合已成为大趋势；二是全球化已成事实，全球化使人们在全球范围内寻求相宜的医疗服务更加方便、快捷；三是技术革命，数字网络技术为医疗旅游提供了极大的方便；四是市场竞争，需求是判断商业机会的唯一标准。据人社部社保中心2007年抽样调查及分析数据显示，我国各统筹地区异地居住的参保人员有450万人，异地就医住院人数约占医保住院总人数的5%，在异地发生的住院费用占医疗总费用的12%。另据报道，2011年在海南省发生的省际异地就医人数与刚启动的2010年相比，增长了4倍多。截止2012年底，吉林省异地就医需求人数已达50万人次，而且呈逐年增长趋势。由此可以看出，中国医疗旅游蕴含巨大的市场潜力，是可以寄予厚望并亟待开发的蓝海。

    医疗旅游的概念有广义和狭义之分，狭义的医疗旅游是指赴境外接受以治疗为目的的

    随着医疗旅游在世界范围内的蓬勃发展，国内已有城市在探索医疗旅游实践。北京不仅是国内旅游业发展前沿之地，而且中医传统历史悠久，其发展的中医院与旅游景区相结合的医疗旅游更是国内中医旅游发展较早的典范。上海出现国内第一个医疗旅游平台，依托国际医学院、国际疗养中心、医学研究公园、国际医疗机械园区和国际商务中心等多功能医疗园区，开展以西医的疾病治疗为主的医疗旅游。陕西咸阳依托传统中医保健资源和丰富的地热资源倾力打造“中国第一帝都、养生文化名城”的品牌形象，开发出独具特色的养生、康复、保健项目，“医疗、药疗、水疗、足疗、食疗、茶疗”等已成为游客来咸阳休闲养生的主要活动内容。四川是中医药资源大省，素有“中医之乡，中药之库”的美誉。为弘扬四川悠久、独特的中医药与民族医药文化，四川开创中医健康养生旅游新模式，力求把四川打造成为世界中医药文化与健康养生旅游目的地。广东省中医药局与省旅游局联手，评选出首批19家“广东省中医药文化养生旅游示范基地”，率先在全国打响“中医药文化养生旅游”的品牌，全力探索和推动中医药文化养生旅游走产业化发展之路。海南为发展医疗旅游，提出打造国家级中医康复保健旅

    本人有幸参加了去年在迈阿密（Fort Launderdale）举办的第五届世界医疗旅游大会，印象非常深刻。今年将应邀参加11月份在美国拉斯维加斯举办的第六届世界医疗旅游大会，推荐对医疗旅游感兴趣的朋友一同前往，亲眼目睹红红火火的医疗旅游产业盛会。

    近年来，医疗旅游在全世界范围内的发展势头非常迅猛。据估计，目前全球医疗旅游人数已上升到每年数百万以上。医疗旅游业产值增长速度迅速，2004年该产业全球产值为400亿美元，2006年增长到600亿美元，2012年该产业全球产值达到1000亿美元。面对医疗旅游所带来的巨大经济利益，很多国家开始把医疗旅游作为优先发展的产业之一。其中泰国、印度、韩国、新加坡、马来西亚、德国的医疗旅游产业都得到政府的支持并有明确的国家战略。

    在国际医疗旅游中，亚洲凭借在价格与技术方面的诸多优势，正逐渐成为医疗旅游的首选地之一。以印度、泰国、韩国为代表的医疗旅游目的地主要是以低廉的价格、良好的医疗条件参与国际竞争，并以本国的特色优势发展国际医疗旅游。印度以其传统医学阿育吠陀和瑜伽吸引了大量旅游者前往学习、医疗及旅游度假；韩国以其演艺事业的

In a 2003 article Seth Godin discussed what it takes for great leaders to truly stand out from the crowd.  By way of introduction he speaks about the origin of sliced bread.  The fact, he notes, is “that for the first 15 years after sliced bread was available no one bought it; no one knew about it;  it was a complete and total failure.“  It was Wonder Bread who broke the code about spreading the idea and appeal of sliced bread.  Godin’s message about standing out is poignant:  “The way you’re going to get what you want, or cause the change that you want to change, to happen, is that you’ve got to figure out a way to get your ideas to spread.”

A friend, a Senior Executive with a passion for the development and growth of people, and I were talking recently about coaching and mentoring.  The focus of the conversation at one point went to helping people see beyond their potential.
