自從2014年9月從美國返回中國後，無所事事地晃悠。是每年在美國生活幾個月再回中國生活幾個月？繼續“退休”？還是，再次調整生活狀態？​

終於，在一次去澳門辦事的偶然機會，在報紙上的招聘廣告中看到了這樣一條招聘廣告：澳門本地戶口，通粵語和普通話，懂簡單英語，每天工作半天，工作內容是物業管理和物業維修監理。哈哈，這多麼像我在美國生活時期所做的事情呀。於是乎，我就回复了電子郵件，很快就有了回复和面試。我的老闆：ALIAN, 一位法國籍的澳門人，面試時，很認真地和我做了溝通，但是由於我的英語VERY POOR，所以，在他的會計師幫助下，順利地完成了面試，於是乎，在2015年6月1日開始上班。​

工作的時間是彈性的，可以從12點開始到下午4點結束，也可以從下午2點開始到6點結束，每週工作5日。我選擇了週一是下午2點上班，其餘是12點上班。週一早從廣州出發直到週五下午4點後啟程回廣州。週二至週五住在珠海拱北臨時租的簡易宿舍裡。​

每週二至週五的上午，安排是去黑沙海灘游泳和週三週五的分別一個小時的太極拳學習，週二和週四的晚上7點半至10點，是中級英文班的課程。​
