In Thanks Giving Day, I want to give my thanks first to my mother, who bore and brought me up despite of great pains and adversities. Thanks also go to my father, whose blood runs in my vein and whose efforts are also indispensible in my growing into a man.

I also want to extend my sincere thanks to all my friends, the past and present, who have exerted and who are still exerting unspeakable influence upon the formation of my personality.

People are the products of their environments. Yet consiciously or subliminally, people seem to choose certain factors in their milieu to shape their disposition. People are the products of their mind and heart.

The world has given me much. I cherish a profound gratitude for that.

The world is going to give me more. My gratitude shall also grow. ,

'I shall never give up,

上午体检了。检出了些问题。慢性咽炎和一个6毫米的结石。

那个结石四年前就有了，当时也是那么大。医生说不碍事，多喝水可以打掉。那以后就多喝水吧。

无意中看到一个男人躺在床上体检，掀起上衣后，腰部露出一大坨隆起的白肉，如同怀胎十月的妇女；而且，医生拿手到那肚皮上揉捏时，似乎那坨肉还十分柔软...

我不禁想到，父母原初给我们的躯体多么美妙悦目，过了那么多年，我们却将它搞得难以辨认。

不知道十年、二十年后，再看看自己的身体，会成为什么样子。

有时候，觉得有必要隔一两年拍几张裸照，那样，以后可以拿来对照。

下午又听到同事说，昨天有个老头体检时，在B超房等待时，当场倒地死亡，现在家属还在讨说法。这就是所谓的人世无常吧。
