我曾好几次在大英博物馆拍摄中国的文物，经常拍到天昏地暗、腰酸背痛、弹尽粮绝（电池用尽），或关门打烊被轰出大门。第二天早上起来我依然会精神抖擞、备好弹药继续执着。我知道其网站上也挂出一些电子图片，但我嫌这些图片看不出包浆，没有立体感，另外我又可以多了个理由，腾出更多的时间可以静静地陪伴这些臻品。

       其中大部分一流的瓷器都是戴维德于上个世纪初在中国廉价收购的，那时我们积弱贫困，为了吃饭贱卖了很多，那也怪不得人家了，所幸保存了很好，戴维德基金会的藏品也算永久性的驻扎在了大英博物馆了，以供世人瞻仰。我也顺便把拍摄的图片挂出来供大家参考。
