在法语中“gang”一词有“党派、帮派”,这让人联想到一个强势的组织,在传统印象中,人们对组织或者党派的认识也往往停留在循规蹈矩、繁文缛节上,当然这样并非全是件坏事,至少在信誉的保证方面有着重要的价值。不过对于罗纳河谷勇于挑战传统、锐意创新的葡萄酒商业联盟“罗纳帮”( Rhone Gang)来说,这又是另外一番景象。今天我们非常有幸联系到了该联盟创始人之一Arnaud de la Chanonie先生(他也是阿维图斯“Avitus”葡萄酒商业组织的业主“owner”),从他的讲述中,我们认识了“Rhone Gang”及“Hold-up”和“Château de Saint Cosme”两款美酒。

Ten years ago,wanted since they figured their way around a barrel at their family owned estates,in the Rhone Valley and Northern Provence,these three young (Okay…Young in spirit and fresh with ideas)winemakers dreanmed of a day when they were not in a Hold Up by all the bureaucratic limitations of the current A.O.C.and explore their artisan roots by creating new blends like their fathers and grandfathers did when free trade and free idea exchange were the norm and not the exception.

十年前,在罗纳河谷及法国南部省份,三个年轻人寻思着在自家的庄园里,用自己的方式来酿酒。这些勇于冒险,敢于创新的酿酒师梦想着有一天,他们能在法定A.O.C产区诸多官僚条件的限制中有所突破,正如在自由贸易和自由思想频繁交流时代,他们的祖辈和父辈们创造新的混合葡萄酒一样,他们将努力探索完美主义的酿酒艺术根源。

The three winemakers are Paul Chaudiere from Chateau Pesquie in Mormoiron,the heart of the Cote du Ventoux appellation,Louis Barruol from Chateau de Saint Cosme in Gigondas,and Organized and assisted by their Chief Scoundrel and spy extraordinaire,Arnaud de la Chanonie,Avitus Wine Merchant,keeping his ear to the ground finding new vineyards and crating the buzz. They work as an ensemble and also individually, producing each year vintages under our own labels as well as the one branded "Rhone Gang."

Even while managing their own vineyards, they got together to establish a new sort of product, based on a new, wider sort of cooperation and an equally expanded variety: wines elaborated from grapes grown in many regions, including but not limited to their own properties. Their inaugural release of two wines;Hold Up and Saint Cosme are respectively;an arresting and easy drinking,sexy new blend,and a serous collaborative effort of three terroirs with state of the art winemaking and attention to detail.

即使在独自经营自己的葡萄园,但在一种全新的、广泛有序的合作和平等拓展机会的基础上,他们也统一协商合作,共同酿制新的产品:从不同产区葡萄种植到葡萄酒酿造,每一个环节都得精心考量,包括不限制他们自己产品的特性。他们共同推荐两款葡萄酒:分别是高昇和圣戈斯,口感宜人,充满诱惑力,汇聚了三个庄园酿酒师潜心合作的魅力精品。

高昇HOLD-UP

Hold-up has succeeded in reuniting two not-so-distant cousins: Burgundy and the Rhône. These two world-famous wine regions share a winemaking spirit with deep, age-old roots. Burgundy is a genuine source of inspiration for the Rhône Gang bunch of vintners, when it comes to the techniques and materials of cultivation, on the one hand, the quest for balance, precision, and complexity in the aroma profile of the wines.

高昇葡萄酒成功融合两种不同产区的风土特性:勃艮第和罗纳河谷。这两个世界著名的葡萄酒产区同根同源,有着共同的酿酒理念。对于罗纳刚的酒商来说,每当遇到技术和栽种材料方面的问题时,勃艮第是他们真正的灵感源泉。一方面,都寻求平衡、精度和复杂的香味。

on the other,We are so fond of these two varieties that, in order to corral them both, we were obliged to organize a holdup! Hold-up, easily recognized by its four sets of moustaches, is the first blend ever of pinot noir (70%) and grenache (30%). It harmonizes all the qualities born of the distinctive soils and sun of Burgundy and the Rhône to make for an exceptional mouthful : first, a fresh dash of red fruit (cherry and currant), along with the mineral hint of Pinot Noir; then, mid-mouth, the sweetness and sensuality of Grenache: and for the finale, a dash of black pepper.

For over your tired Merlot and pick up a bottle of Hold Up.The fun side of the Rhone Gang ,this wine is a sexy blend of Pinot Noir and South of France Grenache. Hedonistic fruit bomb,frsh and intense in the mouth,offering notes of red fruits and Kirsch. Hold-up is a perfect wine, Robert parker once remarked:“Only the Gang could dare…and steal her heart.”

习惯了品尝梅乐品种葡萄酒,你不妨试试这款高昇葡萄酒。它展示了罗纳帮有趣的一面,融合了黑品诺和法国南部歌海娜混合酒液的诱人品质,爆发出迷人的果香,新鲜且口感强烈,具有红樱桃般的迷人酒色对于此款酒的完美品质,罗伯特·帕克曾经评价道:“只有罗纳帮才能…捕获它走她的芬芳。”

圣戈斯Château de Saint Cosme

In the heart of the appellation Gigondas, the Château de Saint Cosme is an exceptional estate, with its Gallo-Roman fermentation vats perfectly preserved. The vineyard includes 15 has of old vines averaging 60years (some vines were planted before 1900). The property has been in the Barruol's family since 1570 with 14 generations of vintners. It was with the "savoir-faire" of a vigneron Louis Barruol created in 1997 a negociant activity that one could call a "Negociant-Vigneron".

圣戈斯酒庄位于吉宫达斯的中心,是一个非常特别的酒庄,用高卢罗马人制作酒桶发酵,以保持完美的酒质。庄园包括15公顷的葡萄园,葡萄藤的平均树龄为60年(一些是在1900年以前栽种的)。庄园自1570年以来就属于巴儒尔家族的物业,发展至今已经历14代人。秉承“自由不干涉”理念的葡萄酒种植学家刘易斯·巴儒尔,1997年创办了一个名叫“酒商--种植学家”酒商联盟。

His will was to become a negociant which would work with the spirit of a vigneron using ancient methods. Louis makes wines which express their terroir with purity and personality.
