现在距离夏天还有一段时间，但一些大学学生也许已经看到了宣传明年夏天赴美进行暑期工作旅行的广告。

我想与大家分享一下我在美国的工作经历。我在位于新泽西州Wildwood的鬼屋工作了一个夏天。第二年夏天我回到Wildwood在一家游乐场工作。我获得了宝贵的工作经验也结识了一些来自于爱尔兰的朋友。他们都是暑期工作旅行的参与者。从那时起，美国就一直欢迎来自东欧，东南亚和中国的学生。暑期工作旅行是了解美国的一个很好机会。

请切记：你需要在9月中旬回来准备下学期的课程，这一点很重要。一些暑期旅游胜地将会在劳动节（9月的第一个周一）之后关闭。我也是在9月1号结束了暑期工作返回大学校园的。请记住提前告诉你的雇主你需要在9月中旬返回中国。预祝您暑假快乐！

Summer may still be a ways off, but many university students may see posters advertising Summer Work Travel (SWT) opportunities in the United State for next summer.

I would like to share my own work experience in the United States.  I worked in a haunted house in Wildwood, New Jersey one summer.  The next summer I returned to Wildwood and worked on an amusement pier.  I had a great experience, and I met many friends from Ireland.  They were Summer Work Travel participants.  Since then, the U.S has also come to welcome students from Eastern Europe, South East Asia, and China, too.  It is a great opportunity to learn about the United States. 

It is also important to remember, though, that you need to come back by mid-September to prepare for Fall Semester classes.  Many summer resort areas will close just after Labor Day (first Monday in September).  I also left my summer jobs September 1^st, to head back to my university classes.  Please remember to tell your employer in advance that you need to come back to China by mid-September, and have a great summer!
