Welcome to the new U.S. Embassy Visa Blog! My name is Travis Sevy  (中文叫史建邦) and I am the visa officer responsible for this blog. As we approach our busiest time of year in the visa section, we hope to provide you with the most up-to-date and accurate information about the visa process. Although more and more Chinese citizens apply for visas every year, there are still many misunderstandings about the visa process.  We hope this blog will help you understand the process better so that you can have a pleasant experience applying for a U.S. visa.

This blog is run by U.S. Embassy visa officers and staff. Most of us are not native Chinese speakers, so please be patient with our Chinese!
