I’m very pleased to be invited by Lynda to join this circle. Several questions regarding plastic or cosmetic surgery and procedures have come from the Dalian Xpat membership and our other foreign friends. To help you, I have agreed to provide some answers about my clinic and the procedures I can provide.  I will provide information about the four most popular and safe procedures that our Dalian Xpat members and other foreign friends can take advantage of in my clinic office and/or the Dalian Central Hospital.  There are others that I can discuss with you as well.

1、Botox Injections

Cosmetic Botox®, is a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily reduces or eliminates frown lines, forehead creases, crows feet near the eyes and thick bands in the neck. The toxin blocks the nerve impulses, temporarily paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles while giving the skin a smoother, more refreshed appearance. Studies have also suggested that medical Botox is effective in relieving migraine headaches, excessive sweating (Hyperhidrosis) and muscle spasms in the neck and eyes.

I have given Botox injections to thousands of patients including some foreigners residents and guests and the results have been quite satisfactory. Because our clinic has a long history of safely providing Botox® treatments using strict medical procedures, you can be assured of having a safe experience. And, the results you will see from the injections will be fantastic.

2、Laser Beauty

We all start life with skin that is soft, smooth and clear. But for most people, the effects of time can leave our skin scarred, damaged and blemished. Thankfully, we have a non-surgical solution for those problems with fast and natural healing. Whether your skin suffers from unsightly sun damage and spots, broken capillaries, scarring, stretch marks or cellulite, we can rejuvenate your skin and restore its natural beauty. For these treatments, we have a Conbio C3 laser machine which was imported from the United States.  We use this laser to provide the most advanced technology for skin care, wrinkle treatments, laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation.

3、Liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure to reduce fat deposits on the body.  This is done using a cannula with suction which removes fat.  The procedure will reduce your weight, and sculpt your figure by removing fat in places that you cannot “spot reduce” through dieting and/or exercise.

Patients wear a snug undergarment for a period following this procedure until the skin is again taut.  We have found that with this newer method of liposuction, there is far less pain following the procedure and a quicker recovery. It has been noted that fat does not return to the locations that have been treated with liposuction.  However, this treatment will not stop weight increases elsewhere, so good dietary habits must still be followed.  Liposuction has become an acceptable, extensively used procedure today.  It is one of the most popular methods of sculpting the body. 

Also popular is the use of “fillers” on the face and hands.  Fillers are used to reduce wrinkles, fill in indentations, and sculpt the face and hands.  If you have interest in having “fillers” on your face and hands in addition to having liposuction, I use a special technique to do fat grafts by using the fat that is removed during your liposuction procedure. The filler technique makes your face and hands appear to be more youthful.  This is a safe, quick, useful procedure.

4、Scar revision

There are many reasons why, through the years, we get scars on our faces and bodies. If you have a scar or scars that affects your appearance and makes you uncomfortable, scar revision might be the answer for you.  After a full consultation with me, we can solve these problems using one of several procedures.  Scares can be greatly reduced or even removed through laser treatments, surgical procedures, or a scar-care injection of special filling gel.  Treatment will depend on the characteristics of your scar.
