二千年前，秦始皇巡视江南来到这里，登上巍巍之山，远望滔滔东海。后来这座山被命名为秦山，秦山镇因此而得名。

    千年后的秦山脚下，诞生了中国第一个核电基地,秦山镇成为中国核电的发源地。

 

核电之源秦山镇

 

 

    1991年12月15日，中国第一座自行设计、建设的核电站——秦山核电站并网发电，结束了中国大陆无核电历史，秦山人从此与核电有了密不可分的联系。

    从1991年中国第一座核电站并网发电，到如今总装机容量达300万千瓦的核电基地，秦山已成为中国核电的摇篮。秦山二期扩建项目和秦山核电厂扩建项目方家山核电工程也已动工建设。到2013年，秦山将建成容量达630万千瓦、9个核电机组的核电群。根据国家核电中长期发展规划, 到2020年我国要建成6900万千瓦的核电装机容量，在建3100万千瓦的核电装机容量，核电设备国产化率要达到70％以上，为核电关联产业发展提供了巨大商机。

    秦山镇作为海盐接轨核电的主阵地和桥头堡，全力打造核电关联产业大平台。秦山核电关联产业区紧邻秦山核电基地，以发展核电配套产业、三产物流业和核电旅游业为主要定位。配套一区规划面积3.5平方公里，已开发1.5平方公里，道路、绿化、供电、供水、污水管网、通讯等基础设施完善到位，先期入区企业60余家，2007年完成工业总产值13亿元，利税1.3亿元，核电关联产业显现良好的经济社会效益。配套二区将建成核电建设配套服务和物流配送的集散地，前期开发工作正在抓紧进行。

 

    秦山镇位于中国东部沿海，东临杭州湾，世界最长跨海大桥杭州湾跨海大桥的北桥堍，与上海、杭州、苏州等中心城市在100公里半径范围内，1小时交通圈内有虹桥、浦东、萧山三大国际机场。秦山镇依山傍海、地势平坦，优越的区位和便捷的交通，赐予了秦山发展的良机。

 

    秦山镇有海岸线17公里。秦山港区是浙江省接轨上海的前沿阵地，海盐县发展临港经济的主战场。港区内可供建设3500吨以上生产性码头岸线3.5公里。建设中的钱塘港口物流有限公司规划建造4个5000吨级外海泊位，300－600亩仓储设施，15个300吨级内河泊位，可形成年450万吨货物吞吐能力，第一个5000吨级散杂货泊位码头已建成投入使用，全部建成后，将构成海河联运、四通八达的交通网络。当年秦始皇登山望海或许只对辽阔的东海发生兴趣，而务实的秦山人早已抓住开发海洋的良机并有所作为。秦山镇临港经济潜力巨大，秦山人民诚邀各界朋友投资开发共谋双赢。

Two thousand years ago, Emperor Qin Shihuang patrolled the south of Yangzi River, mounted the lofty mountain and overlooked at torrential East China Sea. This mountain was named as Qin Shan since, also came the name of Qin Shan Town as well.

After the millennium, at the foot of this mountain, the first Chinese nuclear power base was born, Qin Shan Town became the cradle of China nuclear power plant.

15^th of December, 1991, the first self-designed, self-built nuclear power plant, ——Qin Shan Nuclear Power Plant, incorporate in power network and generate electricity, has finished non-nuclear power history of mainland China, Qin Shan People has inseparable relation with nuclear power plant there from.

Since the China first nuclear power plant incorporated in power network and generated electricity in 1991, up till today the total capacity of this base has reached 3 million kilowatts, Qin Shan has become the cradle of China nuclear power industry. The second phase extension projects of Qin Shan as well as Qin Shan nuclear power plant which is called Fang Jia Shan Nuclear Power Project, have begun to construct. Up till year 2013, Qin Shan will become a nuclear power group with capacity of 6.3 million kilowatts and 9 nuclear power units. According to our national nuclear power medium to long-range developmental program, By year 2020, our country will complete nuclear power base with capacity of 69 million kilowatts, of which 31 million kilowatts capacity is currently being built. We are manufacturing domestically more than 70% of those plants, providing huge business opportunities for industries connected with nuclear power industry.

Qin Shan Town, positioned as the nuclear power main battle position and bridgehead of Hai Yan jointing the nuclear power industry, is making the big platform of nuclear power connection trades with all its strength. Qin Shan nuclear power connection industry area which neighboring Qin Shan nuclear power base, is developing mainly the nuclear power associated industries, transportation, logistics,as well as nuclear power tourism. Qin Shan Town locates at east China coast, with Hang Zhou bay at its east, It is right at the northern ends of the world longest cross-ocean bridge: Hang Zhou Bay Cross-Sea Bridge, It is all within 100- kilometer radius scopes from the town to other key cities like Shanghai, Hang Zhou, Su Zhou. Also within one hour drive, we can reach three big international airports Hongqiao, Pudong and Xiaoshan from the Town. Qin Shan Town leans against the mountain and faces the sea, with smooth topography, With its superior position and convenient transportation, Qin Shan Town has been granted the excellent opportunity to grow.

 

Qin Shan Town has the coastline of 17 kilometers.
