親愛的們！我又飛回香港啦！

 

這幾日很忙，都沒空第一時間跟你們分享我演圖蘭朵的感受，不要講你們沒有看哦!

在内地演歌劇的機會不多，但這次我真的演到很過癮。演卡拉夫的次數已經數不清了，這次是全華人班底，對於我來説是全新的體驗。以前我並不看好内地的歌劇水平，但這次無論舞美、造型、音樂，以及樂團、演員的表現都很棒，大劇院的製作水平可以和國際一流的歌劇院相比較，讓我看到内地歌劇的希望。

 

跟孫秀葦和沈娜都是第一次合作，沈娜是第一次演圖蘭朵這個角色，但她對角色理解很到位，表現也很出色，我跟兩位的合作都非常默契。作曲家郝維亞將歌劇續寫了18分鐘，他基本延續了普契尼的風格，但也加入了一些中國元素，讓我覺得很新鮮，也很喜歡。

 

很遺憾，這次只能演兩場，你們一定也沒看過癮吧？不

2008 is the most important year for all Chinese, let's celebrate Olympics in Beijing!!!

My Concert will be on 24 December at the Great Hall of People, so I do wish some of you can attend. It will be a very different concert, with electronic instruments and 'Classic Fashion', orchestra , all together making a 'Cross Over Concert' which will be the first time for such type of Concert in China presenting by a Chinese Opera Singer!

 

I thank all of you supporting me throughout the years, and see you on Christmas Eve.

Thank you for responding to my latest letter! I feel so honer to have so many friends & fans in China...It makes me want to sing more often in your hometowns.

Dear All,

Sorry that I did not write for such a long time. Due to the fact that I have been extremely busy singing around the world.

In August, I sang Turandot & Pagliacci at the famous Teatro Dell'Opera di Roma( Rome Opera in Italy), with great success. I was the first Chinese Tenor singing at this Important Italian Opera Theatre! I am very pround to represent Chinese and won the heart of Italian public!!!

I was orginally scheduled to sing only the leading role Calaf in Turandot, however the tenor who was suppoed to sing Canio in Pagliacci got sick . So I stepped in & sang the role without any rehearsals. Luckily I know this opera & ave sung it more than 10 times in 3 different productions in USA.

This proves the point that we all need to be ready & sing many roles at anytime!

Now I am back in Hong Kong, busy preparing Aida in Hong Kong in October. I am the producer and sing the role of Radames. Also
