    字母“u”在开音节中的发音就是本身的读音/ju:/，只是在某些辅音之后读音标组合/ju:/比较拗口，于是音标组合/ju:/的发音就简化为/u:/了。所以一般当字母组合“ue”在/r/、/tr/、/dr/、/l/、/ʃ/、/tʃ/、/dʒ/之后时，发音为/u:/，例如：blue, true, glue...  在其他情况下读音为/ju:/，例如：due, Tuesday…
