1、
(1)教师布置学生自由组合成若干小组,以小组形式进行准备
(2) 教师预先设定好若干个主题,并写在小纸条上,让学生抽。包括:在旅游中认识新的朋友(可设立导游、司机、团友等角色)、来到新的学校结识新的同学(可设立老师、同学等角色)、在街上碰见很久没见的老朋友(可设立几个朋友的角色)、经同学或朋友的介绍认识新的伙伴(可设立几个朋友的角色)、来到新的公司或单位认识新的同事(可设立老板、同事等角色)。
(3)教师准备好给学生每人一张信息表(用于记录好新朋友的信息)。
2、给学生复习常用的问候语和自我介绍方法
包括:Good morning! Hi! Hello!
Nice to meet you! Nice to meet you, too.
How do you
do?
How are you? I’m fine.
What’s your family name/first name/phone number? 等等。
3、教师准备歌曲:《Shining friends》的歌词并教会学生唱这首歌曲
4、学生准备以小组为单位根据自己的情景预先准备自己的对话。

S1: Thank you. And nice to meet you, too.
S2: Annie, are those your friends?
S1: Yes, they are my classrooms. Let me introduce.
S2&3: Hi! Lucy. Hi! Sally
S4&5: Hello! How do you do?
S2&3: How do you do?
S3: Why not sing a birthday song?
S4: Good idea!
(Sing a birthday song together)
(2)Conversation:
S2: Merry Christmas!
S1: I’m Bill. What’s your name?
S2: My name’s Ken. How are you?
S1: I’m fine, thanks. Is she your friend?
S2: Yes, she is.

S3: What’s up?
S2: Let me introduce a friend to you. This is Bill.
