教学设计:

一、教学内容:

本模块的主题是Abilities. 主要语言功能是使用“can”谈论能力。Unit1主要呈现本模块所要学习的语言内容(Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.,并能运用所学语言知识询问他人的能力与说明自己的能力。

二、教学目标:

1.知识目标:

功能:使用“can”谈论能力。

语法:全体学生能运用Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump  far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

词汇:全体学生能理解:run, fast, sky, high, winner, far, afraid.

会说句型: Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

语音:进一步感知“sky, fly, high”的语音。

2.技能目标:

听:全体学生能听懂:Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

说:全体学生能说Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

读:全体学生能认读:run, fast, sky, high, winner, far, afraid.

写:全体学生能拼写自选词汇。

3.情感目标:乐于参与课堂活动,展示自己的才能。

4.文化意识:通过体验“I’m afraid I can’t!”的用法,初步感知中外文化的异同。

三、教学的重、难点:

1.教学重点:全体学生能说Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

2.教学难点:单词afraid的发音。全体学生能运用Can you run fast/ ride fast/ jump high/ jump far? YesI can. No, I can’t.

四、教具准备:教学卡片、自绘图片、多媒体课件等

五、教学过程:

Step 1 Warmer

1.Greetings.

2.Revision : jump, dance, swim, fly, sing, run, drink, draw.

T: First, let’s review some words. Ready!

Ss: Go!

T: Great!

Step 2 Presentation

Say a chant.

T:Now, listen. What’s the animal?

S1: Birds.

T: Well done. They’re birds. What are the birds doing?

S2: They’re flying.

T: Wonderful. There’s a chant about the bird. Let’s chant.

Look at the birds up in the sky. How can they fly so fast and so high.

T: I like sports. Sam likes sports too. He has a competition with her friends. Do you want to join them?

Ss: Yes.

1.      Listen and answer the questions.

Who is the winner? Sam and Daming.

2.      Listen again and tell me the answers.

1. Can Sam run fast? Yes, he can.

2. Amy can run fast. (F)

Do the high jump: Sam PK Amy. Sam is the winner.

3. Can Sam jump high?

4. Daming can jump high. (F)

Do the long jump: Lingling PK Sam. Sam is the winner.

5. Can Lingling jump far?

6. Sam can jump far. (T)

Bike ridingDaming PK Sam.

Can Sam ride fast? No, he can’t.

T: Why? We can find the answer in picture 8. I’m afraid I can’t.

3.Let’s listen and repeat.

4. Role Play.

Now, boys would be Sam. Girls would be Amy. Amy, can you run fast. Onetwo, go!

Step 4 Practice

Activity1: Lucky numbers.

Step 6 Homework

Read the text to you parents .

Write the new words for four times.
