Step 1 Leading in

1. Revise the letters.( 复习趣味字母)

T: You have learned some letters. Do you know? Some letters are very interesting. Let’s play a game: Guess the interesting letter, OK?

What’s one minus one? (1-1是哪个字母？) H

What’s one and three? (1和3是哪个字母？) B

What means me? (什么意思是我？) I

2.T: Today，here’s a Free Show Stage in our class. Look, each group has a road. Try your best. Show yourself, OK?

Boys and girls, today I’m your new teacher. And it’s also Open Day of our school. There are so many new teachers here. Let them know you, can you introduce yourself and your friends? You may say: (PPT呈现关键句), OK？So, let’s come to the first round——Talk Show

First, let me try. (PPT) Good morning, class. I’m Hu Lan. Look, this is John… He’s my friend. This is … She’s my friend, too. Can you?

1 T：You know today is Open Day. So I’m happy to see you. Look, I wear new clothes. Look at me. This is my T-shirt, this is my skirt, and I have a cap, too. Look at me. （摆Pose） Ss:（回应）

Teach: Look at me.(动作) Unit3 Look at me!(揭题)

（分步介绍）

2 First, look at my T-shirt. I bought it in Liyang.

Teach: shirt / T-shirt (跟录音读，个别-整体)

T: Look at my T-shirt? Is it nice? You may say: It’s nice.

（PPT） Teach: nice./ It’s nice.

Drill: T: Look at my T-shirt. /Who has a T-shirt? Look at … T-shirt.

 Ss: It’s nice.( 手势，整体-个别)

3 T: Now, look at my skirt. I bought it in Su Zhou.

  (PPT) Teach: skirt (以旧引新，跟读录音)

  T: How do you think of my skirt? Is it nice? Which is nicer, the T-shirt or the skirt? You may say: How nice!

  Teach: How nice!(手势)

  Drill: T: Look at my skirt./Look at… skirt.

       Ss: How nice! (整体-个别)

4 T: Last one, look at my cap. I bought it on the Internet.

(PPT) Teach: cap（跟录音读）

T: Is my cap nice? Yes, I like it very much. I think it’s great. It means ‘very nice’.

Teach: It’s great.(手势)

 Drill: T: Look at my cap./ Look at… cap.

Ss: It’s great.(个别-整体)

5 Talk about students’ clothes

T: My T-shirt, skirt and the cap are all nice. Do you have nice clothes?

S: Yes.

T: Can you show us? You can say “Look at my …”

Teach: Look at… (带读句型)

Drill: Show your clothes in pairs.

Now let’s come to the second round——Clothes show

Step3 While-reading

1.      Talk about the picture:

T:Wow, you all wear nice clothes. How about this girl? Who’s she?

T: Who’s the woman? What is Yang Ling going to do? Guess.

2 T: Yes,Yang Ling looks happy. She’s going to a fashion show. So, she’s trying on nice clothes? What clothes is she trying on? Let’s watch the cartoon and tick the right pictures on the paper.

Check the answer.

T: What clothes does she try on?

S: A skirt, a T-shirt and a cap.

3 T: Are they nice?

S: Yes.

T: Does Mum like Yang Ling’s clothes? Why? Yes. Mum is praising her. How does Mum praise? Now open your books. Let’s read the text. Try to underline what Mum says.

4 Check.

T: How does Mum praise her T-shirt?

S: It’s nice. （读）

T: How does she praise her skirt?

S: How nice!（读）

T: What does she say about her cap?

S: It’s great.（读）

T: At last, Yang Ling is very happy. She says this sentence. Can you read it? (读出语气，读Look at me!)

T: What does Mum say at last?

S: Great!（读）

5 Summary.

T: Yes. Now, do you know how to praise? (PPT出示Learning tip)

T: When we want to praise, we can say… Don’t forget to say: Thank you. (引导学生一起做动作，说评价语)

6 Now let’s read the text beautifully.

 Boys and girls, when you read, please pay attention to the stress, raising tone and falling tone.

Now, let’s come to the fourth round——Action show

表演情景：Yang Ling：Hi, Mum. Look at my ... Thank you…I love you, Mum. Goodbye!   Mum: Goodbye, my dear.

Act out the dialogues in pairs.

3 T: Yang Ling is going to a fashion show. Boys and girls, you may bring or wear many nice clothes. Now shall we have a Fashion Show? You can use your clothes or my clothes. Let’s have the fifth round—Fashion Show.

1）For example,(放音乐，教师用道具走T台，学生赞美不一样，真实、有梯度)

2）Prepare in groups.

3)分组上台展示（每组1位，两组）

4)Wow, you all have nice clothes. But,some special clothes are also nice. Let’s enjoy a video and see :what are they made of?(放录像)
